Types of machine tool’s projector
Machine tool’s projectors have a screen with cross-hair of φ100 mm validity, and there are two types, which are ones with x10 and x20 projection magnifications respectively.
In these two types with different magnification, there are ones with and without with built-in lighting equipment. Ones without with built-in lighting equipment need a separate illumination unit.
1. Products with built-in lighting equipment
(TP100N-IR, TP100N-LR)
It can be used independently without using a separate illumination unit.
There are ones, of which the screen and the relay lens at perpendicular and at the right angle.
2. Products with built-in lighting equipment
(TP100N-IT, TP100N-LT)
Because it does not have built-in lighting equipment, an external illumination such as a light guide is used.
There are ones, of which the screen and the relay lens at perpendicular and at the right angle.
3. One with the screen and the relay lens at perpendicular
(TP100N-IR, TP100N-IT)
It is used when the screen is confronting directly, to observe the sample by placing the sample right under the screen.
There are two types, namely ones that are with built-in lighting equipment and ones without them.
4. One with the screen and the relay lens at perpendicular
(TP100N-LR, TP100N-LT)
It is used when the screen is confronting directly, to observe the sample by placing the sample at the lateral side of the screen.
There are two types that are with and without the integrated illumination unit.

Selecting the machine tool’s projector
1. Selecting the one with the right magnification
You can choose x10 and x20 projection magnifications (there are only these two types).
Effective diameter of the screen is fixed; therefore, the observing range of the sample is decided depending on the projection magnification.
In addition, wider screen diameter provides wider observing range even with the same projection magnification.
With or without with built-in lighting equipment:
When observing the sample surface, the product with built-in lighting equipment can be used as it is. When an observation with the illumination that permeates the sample, a separate illumination unit will be required.
Selecting the one with right screen and right sample positions:
Depending on the sample shape and the mother unit, which the machine tool’s projector is attached, select whether the sample is placed right under the screen or not, with the screen at the confronting position.
2. Requisites for using the machine tool’s projector
Supporter (supporting tool):
The machine tool’s projector has the supporting section, which is used for fixing. It has the special supporter.
Each machine tool’s projector has the focusing mechanism. If the focusing point exceeds the adjustment range of the mechanism, focusing becomes unavailable. Prepare a supporter that can be used for ascending/descending for focusing as well as fixing.
